away June 22, 2013 at Reading Hospital. She was born in Shartlesville on May 6, 1924. She was the daughter of the late George E. and Clara (Rentschler) Isett.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry E. Brightbill, on January 27, 2002 and to whom she was married since 1949. Ruth worked as a waitress in Shillington Restaurant for 32 years, retiring in 1989.
Survivors include nephew, Todd, husband of Betty J. Brightbill of Reading; brother-in-law, Kenneth, husband of Carol S. Brightbill of Reinholds; Earl Brightbill of Laureldale; Russell, husband of Barabara Brightbill of Schwenksville; and sister-in-law, Mildred Ziefler of Spring Twp, Beatrice, wife of Ellis Garman of Spring Twp, and Agnes Sweigart of Spring Twp; and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a life member of the Vinemont Fire Company and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Gouglersville.
Services will be held at Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA 19608, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Deborah K. Gifford officiating. Family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes, Sinking Spring, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Wyomissing Cemetery in Gouglersville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Easter Seal Society of Berks County, 1040 Liggett Avenue, Reading, PA 19611 and Animal Rescue League, PO Box. 69, Mohnton, PA, 19540.
