He was the husband of Debra Ann (Hein) Staver, who passed away March 16, 2016. Born November 10, 1960, in Reading, he was a son of the late Clarence (Turtle) and Leona L . (Wheeler) Staver.
He was a 1978 graduate of Reading High School. Scott was employed by Reitnouer Inc., working in trailer
manufacturing.
He had a love of trains, hockey, decorating for the
holidays, loved going to the casinos with his children, spending time at Dorney Park with his family, lunch dates with family and making homemade candy for Easter. He loved spending every moment with his children and his grandchildren.
Scott is survived by his two children, Scott B. Staver II, husband of Tiffany M. (Frey), of Muhlenberg Township; and Tabitha A. Staver, fiancée of Bryan K. Pascoe, also of Muhlenberg Township. Also surviving are his two stepchildren, Bradley M., husband of Nikki C. (Peters) Leas, of Newport, N.J.; and Brandy M. Leas and her partner, John Smith, of Virginville.
Other survivors include eight grandchildren; and his brother, Keith Staver, companion of Kim Cupani, of West Reading.
A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes, 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. Burial will be private in Berks County
Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way,
Lancaster, PA 17603.
