Born November 25, 1948, she was the only child of Harvey and Helen (Ravel) Gross.
She is survived by her husband, George S. Sproesser, of Leesport.
Vicki was a graduate of Cocalico High School, of Denver Pa., and Bloomsburg University. She obtained a master's equivalency degree through continuing education classes during her 30-year career as an elementary education teacher in the Conrad Weiser School District.
Throughout her life, Vicki cultivated and maintained many friendships in various and diverse social and
professional groups.
She was an avid golfer and member of the USGA. Vicki loved reading and was a great dancer. She always had a full social calendar of lunches, dinners, book club, card club, school friends and many other social circles.
Vicki loved to travel and visited several European
countries: South America, Central America and China as well as extensive trips throughout North America.
An active member of St. John's Reformed Church of Sinking Spring, she was an usher, a greeter and past member of the Consistory.
Her strong faith was evident to all through the grace and dignity she displayed even at the most difficult times.
Vicki will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched by her love, care and friendship.
Funeral Services will be held at St. John's Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. Friends and family may call at church on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, from 7-9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30-11:15 a.m.. The interment will follow the service at Pleasant View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Reformed Church or The American Cancer Society.
