Yolande F. Croushere Yolande F. Croushore, 91, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 4:00 am in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Glenn H. Croushore who passed away November 20, 2002. Born in Westbrook, Maine, Mrs. Croushore was the daughter of the late Edmond and Alice (Sauve) Landry. She was a 1952 graduate of Norwich Free Academy. After moving to the Reading area with her husband, she was fondly known as the “Candy Lady”, who owned the Sweet Delight Shop at the Reading Fairgrounds market. Mrs. Croushore was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi (Alpha Alpha Master Chapter) participating in many local community charity events with her other sorority sisters. During her retirement, she served as treasurer of Mt. Penn Senior Citizens Club. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing at church and while gardening. Mrs. Croushore was extremely gifted in her needlework skills and created many masterpieces that she has left to her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Carl B. Croushore, husband of Renee (Doberneck) Croushore of Wisconsin; her grandsons, Morgan and Thorin, and family friend Christina M. Vittoria of Barto. Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family in Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township. Interment will take place at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, PA. Mrs. Croushore greatly loved animals so in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 or Human Society of Berks County 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604 in memory of Mrs. Yolande F.
