James A. "Jim" Ehrman

1954 - 2011

James was born in Concord, California to Dale and Ann Ehrman. James moved to Clearlake at the age of eight and attended Burns Valley Elementary through Lower Lake High, and remained in Clearlake through his twenties. James was a kind person and known to help those less fortunate. Through James' teenage years he had saved two children from drowning in Clear Lake. James was mostly known for his passion for fast cars, of which the local authorities didn't always share. James worked at General Motors and various other jobs. James lived his life to the fullest until around 1994 when he went into a diabetic coma and suffered brain damage, which slowed his life down dramatically. The nursing staff cared very much for James and was always complimenting him on his manners. James was living in the San Diego area prior to his death.
James is survived by his ex-spouse, Carol; sister, Leilani (Karl); nephew, Jay (Synthia); nieces, Elizabeth (Chris) and Leilani (Sean); great nephews, Isaac, Aiden and Dylan; great nieces, Brittany, Bryona and Karlie; cousins, Peggy, Pam, Gary and many more.
James is preceded in death by his parents Dale and Ann Ehrman. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be on March 31, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Jones & Lewis Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake with officiating Pastor Steve Snyder. Burial will be at Lower Lake Cemetery.
