Adam Newbury Obituary
Adam Newbury passed away on August 25th, 2024, losing his struggle with addiction. He was living in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Adam was born on Dec 12, 1986, in New Britain, CT. He grew up and attended school in Berlin, CT. He was a gifted artist. He loved basketball, football, and snowboarding. Adam enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with his friends and relatives.
Adam is survived by his father, Christopher Newbury of St Petersburg FL, his brother Chris Newbury and his wife Michelle of Kensington, his "Uncle Scott" and Aunt Ginny Newbury, also of Kensington who he lived with for most of his youth. He is also survived by Jan Sakowicz, Maureen and Matt Vaverchak, Irene and Steve Uryga, Dave and Robin Bukowski, Dean and Kelly Bukowski, Barbara Bukowski, Beth Sakowicz, Teresa and Tom Sakowicz, Jim Sakowicz, Rob Sakowicz, and many other cousins. All these relatives played a strong role in Adam's early years. Adam was predeceased by his mother, Deborah Bukowski Newbury, his uncle Dan Bukowski, and his grandparents.
A memorial service to celebrate Adam's life will be held at Kensington Congregational Church, 312 Percival Ave Kensington CT 06037 on September 21, 2024 at 11:00am. He will be laid to rest with his mother at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain at a separate private service.
