Alex Alvarez Obituary
Besides his parents he leaves in his memory his three sons, Jayden Alvarez, Elias Alvarez, and Zoel Perez; three sister, Rita Alvarez, and Caitlin Candelaria, both of Meriden, and Liliana Alvarez, of Kissimmee, Fla.; two brothers, Pedro Alvarez, and Christopher Candaleria, both of Meriden. He touched many lives with his warm, loving spirit. He was a true, caring person with a big heart. He truly exemplified and demonstrated the expression of "Live, Love, and Laugh"
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Saturday, (TODAY), at 10 a.m. at First Congregational Church, 623 Colony St. Meriden. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Friends may call at the church from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alvarez Children. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden. To Alex's family,
I was deeply saddened to learn about Alex's passing. I knew Alex during his time as a student at Maloney High School. May God bring you peace and comfort during this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My deepest condolences to the entire Alvarez family,
God we don't quite understand why it is that you have called on this young father, brother, and friend home so soon. We only can pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace and let his family come to grips with this early departure. God please make the families sorrow understand in time that now he will be there Guardian Angel, and he will forever be sending blessings there way. RIP, young one and may god keep giving your family strength in this sorrowful moment. My deepest sympathies to all:o)
