I met Al when I was Five years old, we quickly became good friends and spent many wonderful hours together as kids growing up in East Hartford . His Dad, Frank, often took us to Rocky Neck, CT or Misquamicut,RI to frolic in the waves. Great memories with a great friend ! Will always love Alfred Banas , Great friend, very smart, kind, thoughtful, considerate, understanding, patient, quiet, loving, generous, gentle soul .
There are not enough words to describe what a great man he became over the years.
We didn´t get together much as life brought us in different directions, but when we did, we still shared that closeness that those early memories forged.
He will always be in my heart, and will be thoughtfully remembered constantly for my new grandson was also named
Alfred.
I am sure I will remember Al and our great times together as kids every time I look into his eyes.
