Barbara Borak Obituary

INVERNESS, Fla. - Barbara Irene Borak, 83, of Inverness, Fla., died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, in the Hospice of Citrus County Care Unit.

Barbara was born on Aug. 21, 1926 in Meriden, the daughter of John and Marie Ritchotte, she was a homemaker and a member of the V.F.W. 'Women's Auxiliary in Wallingford. Mrs. Borak moved to Inverness from Meriden 20 years ago with her husband, Edward,

Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, William; and sister, Beatrice. Survivors include her husband, Edward Borak, of Inverness, Fla.; sons, Barry Borak, of Wallingford and Bruce Borak, of Beverly Hills, Fla.; daughters, Bonnie Shaw, of Naples, Fla., and Bethany Budzvii, of Post Mills, Vt.; a brother, Warren Ritchotte; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Lucy.
