Barbara Cyr Obituary
She was born on April 15, 1947, daughter to the late Stanley and Marjorie (Gallagher) Sepio. Barbara grew up in Meriden and was a graduate of Platt High School with the class of 1965. She went on to graduate from Manchester Community College and had been employed as the Assistant Director of the Clayton House for the past 25 years. A kind, caring and loving, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed by all.
She leaves her children, Deborah Norman, of Plantsville, Brian Norman, of Bristol and Edward Norman II and his wife, Sandy, of Southington; her brother, Thomas Sepio, of Rocky Hill; four grandchildren, Corey, Edward III, Stephanie and Cameron; and a great-grandmother, Aurora. She was predeceased by her brother, James Sepio.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 11 a.m. at the Samsel & Cameron Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Clayton House, 203 Williams Street East Glastonbury, CT 06033. Yesterday, was a very sad day, when I found about Barbara had passed away, back in July, and I had no idea, she was ill. Barbara taught me many things, including how to deal with grief, but right now, I feel her loss.
To the family, my deepest sympathy, I will miss her.

My deepest sympathy for your loss.
There are few souls that have such a great impact on others, and Barbara was one of those select few...she sincerely cared about her clients & friends, making time when there was no time, and genuinely conveying empathy for whatever problem a client may have had. This world certainly couldn't afford to loose such an angel of compassion. Yet, we all rejoice in her reunion with the love of her life.
