Betty Simon Obituary
Born in Oak Park, Ill., she was the daughter of Olga and Robert Brown.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Pat and Candy Simon, of Milford, Bob and Desi Simon, of Meriden, Charles and Gretchen Simon, of Bala Cynwyd, Pa., Jeanne and Rafael Molinari, of Arlington, Va.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandsons; and an extensive extended family.
After graduating from the nursing school of West Suburban Hospital in Chicago, Ill., she married and settled in Meriden, where she and her husband raised their family. She worked as a nurse at the Meriden Hospital and Curtis Home and maintained the books for her husband's company, Meriden Ornamental Die Company. She was an active volunteer with various organizations.

Dear Pat, Bob, Charlie and Jeanne, May Aunt Betty rest in peace. She was a good wife and mother. I have not seen her in years and have neglected to correspond any more at Christmas.
You are all so far away in miles but today you are close in my remembering your mom, your dad, and the rest of the Brown family. Love, Judy (Brown) Payne. Elmer's daughter.

To the Simon family,
I used to have an occupational therapy office in Milldale. Your parents used to come to my office for a Parkinson's Exercise Group. They were both wonderful people. We all enjoyed them very much. I still cherish a painting that your father did from a photo of my late husband on our horse. He and I both had disabilities and we rode for therapy. I was saddened to see that your mom had also died. They were both special people and will always have a special place in my heart.
