Carolann Minervini

WALLINGFORD - Carolann Farone Minervini, 68, of the Forestville section of Bristol, formerly of Cheshire and Wallingford, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

She was born in Meriden, July 21, 1942, a daughter of the late Carl and Mildred Rispoli Farone, was raised in Wallingford and had been a Cheshire resident for many years until moving to Forestville. She had been employed in the produce department of Stop & Shop in Cheshire and Clinton for 25 years, until her retirement.

She is survived by her two sons, Slade J. Minervini and his wife, Kim, of Plainville, and Chad C. Minervini and his wife, Michelle, of Durham; her daughter-in-law, Marcia Minervini, of Wolcott; three cherished grandchildren, Joshua A. Dionizio, Aidan A. Minervini and Risa C. Minervini; her former husband, Anthony J. Minervini, Sr., to whom she had been married for many years; her brother, James Farone, of Meriden; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Anthony J. Minervini, Jr., in August 2010.

Funeral services will be privately held. There will be no calling hours. Because of her love for her grandchildren, in lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106.
