Charlene B. Secondo

1951 - 2022

Charlene (Bentley) Secondo, 70, of Southington, beloved wife of Domenico Secondo, Sr., passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at MidState Medical Center after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Charlene was born on October 13, 1951 in Hartford, CT and was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Helen (Riccio) Bentley. After her retirement of Bank of America where she was an accounts manager, Charlene could be found enjoying the sun, working in the garden, and cooking delicious meals for her family. It was her family however, that meant the most to her. They were the lights of her life. Besides her husband of almost 50 years, Domenico, she is survived by her two sons, Joseph Secondo and his wife Tiffany of Southington, and Domenico Jr. and his girlfriend Lee of Kensington. Charlene was also "Grammie" to her beautiful granddaughter Rylee, also of Southington. She is also survived by her sister, Deborah Johnson and her husband Larry of Meriden. A Mass of Christian Burial for Charlene will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 9:15 AM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington, CT 06489 and at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Dominic, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington, CT 06489. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
