Beloved husband of Ralitsa R. Combs, of Vienna, Va.; loving son of Patricia Combs and the late Daniel Combs, of Wallingford; adored brother of Donald (Susan) Combs of Hampstead, N.H., Laura Combs and her partner, Rebecca Ceccarelli, of Frassini, Italy, and Patrick (Joanne) Combs, of Wallingford; nephew of Marjorie, David, Robert, Eugene, Jerome, and the late Raymond; uncle of Nicholas, Isabella, Colette, Daniel, Madison, and Morgan.

Dear Ralitsa,
I was shocked and saddened to learn of your husband’s death. His passing is both untimely and unjust. There are no comforting words which can diminish the loss you are experiencing and the grief you must feel. Though I never met David personally, you always spoke of him with loving care and concern. I offer my heartfelt condolences and extend my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I pray you find strength to cope with your grief and move forward with your life. Reflecting on the kind and gentle fellow that David was in our childhood, I remain grateful for him. I am so saddened to hear of his death ... praying that the God of all comfort will continually walk with you through this pain and sorrow, bringing sure hope and deep healing.
