David Cooley Obituary
David J. Cooley "DJ" suddenly left this earth, bound for heaven on Nov. 25, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Durso; his grandmother, Joan Cooley; his uncles, Eric Cooley and Don Cooley; his aunt, Kate Brunelle; his brother, Scott Durso; his sister, Rebecca Maslar; and many friends who will greatly miss him.
Services were held Dec. 1, 2012 at the North Haven Funeral Home.

I knew David when we were both young around 1997ish.
He knew me as DJ and we both lived in the same apartment complex on cherry Street in Wallingford we were friends for a summer and I remember him and prolly will till I'm not on this world any more .
We did run into each other through our our life's so when I heard of his passing I truly was saddened that he is not going to grow up and have kids and to do the things we all take for granted.

Wow Dave it's been 10 years now. You had a such a big heart and were such a good friend to Russell. I need a favor from you. Can you just take a look around and see if you run into Russell up there. Grab him by the hair and send me a sign. He vanished almost 1 year ago now. The hole that is left in a mom's heart will never heal from the loss of a child. Maybe send me a patch to stop the bleeding. I always got to see the happy and smiling side of you. You are loved and missed by many Dave. God bless you and your family

Dave Cooley was a free spirt with the heart of a lion. Him and I had some of the coolest times throwing parties and even though he spiked my yagermister with god knows what, his extremely caring and loving mother had to drive me home. Dave if you can hear me you were truly a bestfriend of mine. Even thought I am just learning of him passing away I wish to pay my respects to his family and his mother. I am so so sorry for your loss. I was so saddened by the news. I was a para at Clintonville and was in class with David for two years and then saw him at the MS in Guidance. I will always remember him with fondness.
