How sad I am to learn of the passing of David Elkin. The Meriden Community has lost a truly wonderful man and human being. I came to know Dave through my Uncle, the late Richard Fontanella, who was one of his closest friends. Dave was a loyal, caring friend, and also a dedicated citizen who contributed so much through his community service as an individual and as a business owner. I will never forget the help and advice he offered me during the last several years. My deepest condolences go out to his lovely wife, Dorothy, his family and friends. His legacy will long be remembered.
