Dorman R. Stone Jr.
1957 - 2021
Dorman R. Stone, Jr., of Naugatuck, formerly of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, August 9, 2021. He was born January 30, 1957 in Meriden, CT, to Dolores Stone and the late Dorman Stone, Sr.

Dorman was taken from us too soon. He loved talking to anyone who would listen. He made friends helping anyone who needed comfort or fixing things for the better. He owned his own business Butch's Hauling Containers and worked with his late father, also, in a trucking business, Stoney & Dorman's Trucking.

He leaves behind his mother Dolores Stone, sisters Judy Evans and husband John, Pamela Guidone and husband Kenneth, nephew Anthony Guidone. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

To his wishes he wanted family only services. He was laid to rest in In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford.

It is with great sorrow to hear of Dorman's passing. My condolences go out to all of the Stone family. My greatest memories with Dorman was when we went cross country in 1977.Those were the best days that i went with him, gone for almost 2 months went though so many states. Spent over a week in South Dakota, hook up with friends unexpectedly - seen MT Rushmore many times, Sturges and more. We then went to Yellowstone Park, many deserts, the Grand Canyon, drove the coast of CA to San Francisco over to Lake Tahoe and so many other stops without ever paying for a night to sleep (we slept in the back of his 72 blazer of coarse with the tail gate down for Dorman to fit LOL).. I still talk about doing it again to this day. RIP my friend you be missed! Pete Sarno
