Eileen O'Leary

PLYMOUTH - On Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016, at The Hospital for Central Connecticut in New Britain, Eileen, at the age of 66, succumbed to her battle with Wegener's Disease. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter who always managed to put the needs of others first.

Eileen is survived by her husband, William O'Leary, of Plymouth; brother, Alan Gibson, of California; and her eight children, Jennifer Linskey (Plymouth), Brian O'Leary (Plainville), Timothy O'Leary (Sarasota, Fla.), Lynn Michaud (Meriden), Lori Pandell (Bristol), William O'Leary (Bristol), Lisa Driscoll (Meriden) and Sean O'Leary (Meriden;) and 17 grandchildren. Eileen wore many hats throughout her life with her early years spent as a certified x-ray technician at Jefferson Radiology. She then went on to help run the family business at Interstate Aviation, Inc. and most importantly, raising her children, grandchildren and being the backbone of the family. She was a CCD Director and also a very active part of her grandchildren's elementary school. She had a passion for books and enjoyed her love of the outdoors while gardening.

There will be no memorial or funeral services. It is our hope that each of you will lovingly remember Eileen in your own special way. Eileen's family has set up a Memorial Fund in her honor with The Vasculitis Foundation in an effort to increase awareness and to help in the research of this disease.
