Eleanor F. Conary

1928 - 2018

Eleanor F. Conary, 90, died September 13, 2018 at Masonicare Health Center. She was born February 15, 1928, a daughter of the late Albert and Adeline Snavely. She grew up in West Haven and lived in Wallingford for most of her life. Eleanor and her late husband, Leo Conary moved to Lehigh Acres, FL, in 1977. They returned to Wallingford in 2000. Eleanor is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherryl and Arnold Willhite of Wallingford, and Gail and Robert Coskey of Durham; her three grandchildren, Lori Willhite, Marc Willhite, and Colleen Vanhenik; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Adelade Leighton, Connie Darling, Lois Miller, Ruth Shaw and Jean Motzer. She also had one brother, Albert Snavely. The family would like to thank the staff of 3 Ramage at Monicare for the wonderful care they provided the past several years. Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
