Elena Ramos Obituary
Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, Jan. 22, 1925, a daughter of the late Juan and Angelina Rodrigues Nieves, she had been a Wallingford resident for 70 years. She had been employed by Quantum Manufacturing in Wallingford until her retirement.
She is survived by her three sons, Carlos Ramos, of Florida; Gabriel Ramos Jr. and his wife, Norma, of Wallingford; and Noel Ramos and his wife, Wilma, of Meriden; her eight grandchildren, Cynthia, Brandon, Matthew, Tanya, Jason, Nathan, Victor, and Jacob Ramos; her great-grandchildren, Jaiden Noyes Ramos and Ariana Rolle; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Amelia Collazo, Lucy Rial, and Virginia Nieves; and her brothers, Ramon Nieves and Ismael Nieves.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford, on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. in The Wallingford Funeral Home.
