Evan Landry Obituary
Evan was born in Meriden, Oct. 17, 1984, and was a graduate of Maloney High School, class of 2003. He belonged to the Connecticut Carpenters Local 24, and was employed by Central Connecticut Acoustics Inc. and previously by Kaye's Pharmacy. He was a passionate golfer and gifted artist, a love to which he was recently reacquainted. He was the middle child and heart of his family. His original sense of humor, his warmth, and his smile will be missed dearly.
Throughout Evan's life he shared an unending love with an always supportive family. In addition to his parents and siblings, he is survived by his grandmothers, Martha Landry and Lois Allen, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins: Pam and Pat Tempe, Kathryn Mezerewski, and Allanah Chambrelli, Sherri, Gerry, Michael, Ashlee, and Sophie St. Hilaire, Kelly, John, Cole, Grant, and Corinne Magee, Louise Carey, Mary, Frank, Michael and Samantha Soltesz, Gloria, Frank, Nick, and Alex Viel, Dan, Sue, and Thomas Landry, and Paul and Carol Landry. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Claude Landry and James Allen, and uncles, Bob Carey and Scott Allen. Evan found friends wherever he went and had many loyal buddies throughout his life, sharing special bonds with Jon Andrade, Mike Uhlman, his roommates, and his dog Cooper.
Evan was a generous and compassionate soul and his generosity continues in death. As a registered organ donor Evan will provide the gift of life for many this holiday season. He has made his family in-credibly proud.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wednesday, Dec. 26, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in The Wallingford Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evan's memory can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Elm City, c/o Al Atherton, 223 Bradley St., New Haven, CT 06510.

I'm heartbroken. I just re-connected with Evan through Facebook and was looking forward to a long period of fun banter. He was a coaches dream. He showed up for every practice with a smile and played to the best of his abilities in matches.
