Giovanni Russo Obituary
Giovanni Russo, 46, of Meriden, loving husband of Nicole (Caponera) Russo, unexpectedly entered eternal life, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at MidState Medical Center. Giovanni was born in Meriden, December 18, 1977, a son of the late Angelo Russo and Antonetta (DeCristofaro) Russo. He was employed for over 26 years as a plumber at Macri Associates of Avon.
In addition to his wife Nicole, he is survived by his beloved children Stephanie, Vincenzo and Giovanni Jr.; his brothers; and sisters Filomena Russo, Joseph (Sabrina) Russo, Rosa (Brian) Ranno, Enza (Giuseppe) Maiorano, and Tony Russo; his mother-in-law Patricia (Phil) Hruska; his aunt Pasqualina (Nicola) Scaramuzzo; many nieces; nephews; and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Diamonte Russo. Giovanni's family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23, from the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home at 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Holy Angels Church, 585 Main St., South Meriden.
