Henrietta M. Peruta, 94, wife of the late Frederick Peruta, Sr., died on September 5, 2021, at MidState Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Waterbury, CT, on May 31, 1927, she was the daughter of George and Anna Snow. Henrietta had resided in Meriden, CT and had attended Waterbury Public Schools. She was a member of New Life Church. She was also a member of the following organizations, TOPS and Red Hat Society.

Henrietta is survived by her children, her daughter Christine (Calvin) Bunnell, her five sons, Frederick Jr., David (Maribeth) Peruta, Brian (Christine) Peruta, Gary Snow Peruta, Glenn (Betty) Peruta, nine grandchildren, Alexandra Peruta, Kim (Dan) Knopf, Kristine (Jerry) Mitchell, Adam Peruta, Douglas (Angie) Bunnell, Sara Millman, Stephan Peruta, Nathan Peruta, and Zachary Peruta, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Henrietta was predeceased by her five sisters and two brothers.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, September 13, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT 06457. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of The John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Autism Services & Resources Connecticut, 101 N. Plains Industrial Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492.
