Jason Clark Obituary

Jason Thomas Clark, 37, of Meriden, died suddenly in his home on Friday, July 29, 2022. Jason was born in Waterbury on Aug. 2, 1984 to Mary Ellen (Muzzio) Godin and the late Richard O. Clark, Jr.

Jason was born with a mighty heart, a twinkle in his eye and a chuckle in his soul. He was a spirited child and adult who forever made us laugh with his sound and voice imitations. He was educated in Waterbury schools and delighted audiences with his comedic stage performances. Jason had a lot of friends that he helped with anything they needed....moving, childcare, or just to talk. He worked at National Flooring Plus and more recently at FedEx.

Besides his mother, Jason is survived by an older sister Cassandra Clark of Meriden, two older brothers Richard O. Clark III of Naugatuck and Christopher A. Clark of Middletown, and sister Kelly Godin Capponcelli of South Hadley, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, John A. Muzzio, aunts and uncles, and several nieces and nephews. His large extended family also includes cousins Brian Fleury and Christopher Fleury who were like brothers, and his aunt Patty Fleury who served as a second mom.

Jason loved to laugh and make others join him. He enjoyed music and singing his own lyrics, watching documentaries, reading, meditating, playing basketball with nieces and nephews and taking care of his mom. He would want those that suffer with addiction to seek the help and services they need.

Family and friends are invited to remember Jason at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450, on Thursday, August 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
