Joyce McKeon Stange, 82, wife of the late Howard E. Stange, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Born in Meriden, Connecticut on March 14, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marjorie (Peterson) McKeon. She had resided in Meriden and Killingworth for most of her life. She graduated from Platt High School, Class of 1961 and was retired from the State of Connecticut.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kim Moran and her husband, Bill Moran, and Marjorie Bradshaw; her grandchildren, Christopher Moran, Garrett Moran and his wife, Emilia Primo Moran, and Jenny Kuhn and her husband, Avery Kuhn; and her sisters, Sandra Ulmer and Sheila Grimes and her husband, Ed Grimes. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Craig Ulmer, Steve Grimes, Kiera Ulmer, Alex Ulmer and Caitlin Ulmer. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Gordon Ulmer, Jr.; and her nephews, Gordon Ulmer, III and Eddie Grimes.
Family and friends are invited to call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden, CT 06450, on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery's Hubbard Memorial Chapel, 817 Old Colony Road, Meriden, CT 06451, at 12:30 p.m., followed by interment.
