Justin Daniel Gatti, 42, of East Hartford, passed away on September 3, 2021 with his family by his side. Son to Linda and Charles Pasquariello and Frank Gatti, Justin was born in Hartford and grew up in Wallingford. Justin graduated from Lyman Hall High School and later joined the Navy. During his time in the Navy, Justin served in Okinawa, Japan and Bahrain. After his time in the Navy, Justin explored many career paths, even owning his own business, JD Enterprises LLC. Justin was employed by Macri Roofing in Meriden, he worked as an HVAC journeyman, and most recently a carpenter journeyman with a local union. When not working, Justin enjoyed playing soccer, watching football (especially the Patriots), watching stand-up comedy (among his favorites were Sebastian Maniscalco, Kevin Hart, and Gabriel Inglesias), and most of all, spending time with his family. Justin would always look forward to having a good meal with his family whether at home or at a favorite restaurant. Family was the most important thing to Justin and he always made time for the people in his life. Justin's presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents Linda and Charles Pasquariello and Frank Gatti, Justin is survived by and will be deeply missed by his daughter Kayla; brother Matthew Pasquariello; partner Evelyn Ortiz and her daughters Danielle and Isabella; longtime friend and sponsor Jimmy Ricco; as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family near and far from the Gatti, Pasquariello, and Ortiz families. A period of visitation will be held at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 9:00-10:30 a.m., with a service to follow from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. To Justin´s partner, daughter and all of his family near and far, you have my deepest condolences on Justin´s loss. He was a great quiet friend of mine and he will be sorely missed. I pray that the God of heaven and earth give you peace and strength during this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
