Lauren Giaimo Obituary
She is a daughter of her ever loving parents, Joel and Barbara Cassista, of Spring Hill, Fla. She was a graduate of Cheshire High School class of 1976 and was a member of the VIP'S and sang at several state competitions. Her love was music, singing, computers and the ocean. She spent her life loving all of this.
She leaves behind a brother, Michael Cassista; sisters, Michele (Antonio) Rossini, and Paula Annino (Cary MacDonald); her mother-in-law, Mary Giaimo; sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Kenneth) Shepard; brother-in-law, Frank (Elissa) Giaimo, of California; loving aunts and uncles; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Edward Giaimo Sr.
There will be a memorial service held Thursday, Dec 6, at 6:30 p.m. at Cheshire Bible Chapel, 1103 Waterbury Road, Cheshire. The funeral will be private. Donations can be made to CT Hospice, Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.

Joe,Barbra and Family,
Susan and I express our sincere condolances and join in the prayers for the Loss of Lauren. No one can take away the wonderful memories created in life and mine are of constantly calling on Lauren to guide me to become computer literate. Each question I asked, no matter how computer illiterate it showed I was, got answered. I will never forget the help she gave me.

On this day, Dec 3rd, our first born, dear,darling, talented, intelligent and beautiful daughter went to be with the Lord. After 3 1/2 yrs of suffering the battle of cancer, she is now free of pain and finally resting in peace with her Lord & Savior. Her memory will linger forever in our hearts and we are thankful to the Lord for giving us this child to have and to hold for a period of time on this earth. We love you and will never stop until the day we are united with you in heaven.
