I met Linda through our love and respect of young children . We were both CT. Community College Early Childhood Education Program Coordinators. We presented workshops together and attended NAEYC conferences. Linda was always interested in my life and my family.I will miss our conversations and get togethers. I send my sincere condolences to Tom, her sons and their families.

Linda was never too busy to stop and talk, and she always had something interesting to say -- some pithy observation to think about for the rest of the day. We're really sorry to hear about your loss.

Our hearts go out to Tom, Jeff, Kevin and Trevor. Linda was always such a positive presence on campus - in the dining hall and at other campus events. Her warmth was welcoming and her smile came easily. Cyrus and I appreciated our many conversations with Linda and Tom over the years, and I especially relished my chats with Linda and Tom about our shared experiences at and love of Bates. May you as a family find peace at this difficult time, knowing that Linda's goodness and spirit live on in you and all she touched.

Linda was one of the kindest people I knew. She made me feel welcome from the first day I came to Choate. I loved sharing a meal with her in the dining hall or taking walks around Wallingford. Perhaps my favorite activity was playing Hand and Foot with her, Tom, and other friends. I will miss her easy laugh, warm smile, and wonderful hugs. Peace and love to Tom and all her family and friends.

My condolences and aloha to the Day family--Linda was a dear friend throughout my summer days at Choate. We broke bread together almost everyday........

Linda was always kind and generous to the Loebs as she watched us raise our young children on the Choate campus. She offered advice and was always ready with her lovely laugh. David and I are holding all of the Days in our hearts and we send you all love during this time.
