Maria Simonetti Obituary
She was born in Naples, Italy on Aug. 29, 1920. She was a registered nurse for 30 years in Italy.
She leaves sons, Carmine (Angela,) of Newington, Tony (Lisa,) of Meriden, Salvatore (Teresa), and Gianni (Pina,) and a daughter, Rita (Bruno,) all of Italy. Also son-in-law, Antonio DiDomenico, of Meriden. She had four grandchildren, Ciro (Marianne) Simonetti, Bruno (Lisa) Simonetti, Maria (Steven) Calvert, and Salvatore (Shari) DiDomenico; granddaughter, Anna (Mike) Motta, of Florida. She was also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; loving family; and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Ciro; and daughter, Vincenza DiDomenico. Maria was a loving person, with a great sense of humor and visited the U.S. frequently to visit family and friends.
Burial took place in Naples, Italy.
