Marion Regan Obituary
June 6, 1936 - October 30, 2024
Marion (Kelley) Regan, 88, of Wallingford, formerly of Berlin, wife of the late Robert J. Regan, passed away on October 30, 2024, at MidState Medical Center.
Marion was born in New Haven on June 6, 1936 a daughter of the late James and Bridget (Dowd) Kelley.
Marion worked at Winchester's in New Haven but left to be a stay-at home Mom. Later she worked at Gaylord for 10 years in the billing department and then for Internal Medicine Associates before she retired. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Poker and the new games she learned, Rummy Cube and Left Center Right with her friends. She was an avid Nascar fan and watched every race.
Marion is survived by her children, Dawn Scranton (David Ashford), and Martin J. Regan (Darlene); her grandchild, Gary Scranton III; her sister and brother -in-law, Alice and Nicholas Ferraro; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Martin and Peggy Regan, Thomas and Carol Regan and Roslyn "Cookie" Regan, also many nieces and nephews.
Marion's family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 10:30 am to 12 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12 pm. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. www.wallingfordfh.com

Marion and I met at work when we're just entering adulthood and remained friends throught our whole life.we had some great times the memories remained with us forever. BOB AND MARION GOT MARRIED IN Oct and Frank and I got married the following year. A close friendship that lasted forever for both of us. Deep sorrow extended to Dawn and Marty and their family.
