I was proud to be a classmate of Mark's at Xavier.

Mark attended the 55th reunion for the XHS Class of 1967 last summer at a beautiful golf course in Meriden.
I had brought my copy of the Don '67 XHS yearbook with me and asked Mark if he would please sign it. He signed his full name next to his yearbook photo very carefully and slowly. I sat next to him as he did this, and we then chatted for several minutes describing our lives during the past half-century ( plus five years ). It was a very pleasant conversation as we both shared how the years seemed to have gone by very quickly.

In hindsight, I am very fortunate to have visited with Mark on that occasion. Our spoken words did not really matter. What was much more important was the time we spent talking together.

Rest in peace, Mark.
