Mary Shia Obituary
Mary was born in North Haven on April 16, 1919, daughter of the late Carmine and Emelia Bolzano Ruggiero and had worked for Pratt &
Whitney.
She was the mother of George Shia and is wife, Lyubov Shia; grandmother of Jacob Shia.
Her funeral procession left the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Saturday, June 4. A Mass of Christian burial was followed in St. Therese Church. Interment was followed in All Saints Cemetery.

Condolences on the loss of your mom, a loving woman who will always be remembered for her unselfish kindness and creative skills.
Mary taught me, through example and a few lessons, that a woman could accomplish whatever she set her mind to do. Whether hoeing a garden, knitting a blanket, or creating a meal for twenty, she always got the job done right.
With many great memories of Mary and Fred, I can only say thank you to them for including me in their lives.
