Nancy and I met almost 50 years ago. Our kindred spirits were drawn to each other in a special way. We recently reconnected and looked forward to spending more time together. It was not to be for the Lord had other plans. I will always treasure our last night together: Easter Vigil Mass at St. Rose. And our long conversation afterwards. My mind is flooded with so many memories that make me smile and make me cry. I miss you so much my heart aches. I envy you being in the arms of Jesus. Rest easy, my dear, dear friend. I love you.

Nancy's life was filed with Christian joy and accomplishment. We met when she was our choir director and then I sang with her at the GHOE...each time I marveled at her talent and her desire to make you better in the process.

Rest in Peace

I had the pleasure of know Nancy for many years through the music scene as we both were music directors of German singing societies. Nancy's gifts to the world of music will be sorely missed as well as her warm, outgoing personality. Nancy was a gifted musician: a pianist and operatic soprano. She had been a soloist in almost every state in the United States as well as in Europe, Asia, and Australia, performing at both Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. She was the former Director of The Greater Hartford Opera Ensemble, the former Music Director of the Meriden Turner Society, former Music Director at the First Congregational Church of Meriden, and former Director of the Greater Meriden Concert Chorale. She also served as Professor of Voice and Piano at St. Joseph University in West Hartford for twenty years.
May Eternal Rest be granted to you, friend.
