So sorry for your families loss. Our neighborhood won't be the same without Odie walking and riding his bike with the kids around the block over and over again until the kids couldn't go any more. He always went out of his way to make sure to speak to everyone in his path. RIP Odie

I met Odie just a couple months ago while at lunch. We talked about his days in Nam, his family, his barhopping with Ric Flair and the hat he got from Merle Haggard (or Waylon Jennings, I don't remember). He was a delight to meet and talk to. I never caught his last name or else I would've realized he was Amanda's father. I've known Amanda for years and consider her a dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her entire family!

Tammy, Johnny, Bobby, and Amanda. I so loved your dad as he felt like a brother to me. I know how hard this is for all of you. Just remember he loved his family and those eight beautiful grand children. He was all about his family. My heart is so heavy for all of you. I love this family so much. Tammy, Johnny, Cindy and the Fields family,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. I will always remember with great fondness the holidays / get togethers at Jonny's & Cindy's I spent with you. You all made me feel like family when mine were over a thousand miles away. I remember how genuine and kind Odell and Tammy both were to me!
