Pauline St. Pierre Obituary

Pauline Y. St. Pierre, 81, a longtime resident of Plainville died peacefully on April 9, 2010. She shared her life with Joseph F. St. Pierre and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage.

She was born in Brunswick, Maine, on Aug. 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Helena (Saucier) Paquette. She was raised in Brunswick, Maine and went on to marry the love of her life, Joe, in 1953. Shortly thereafter they moved to Connecticut to raise their family. She was a dedicated and hard working employee for several department and grocery stores throughout the years. Outside of work, she enjoyed making arts and crafts including crocheting, knitting, and making dolls. During the holidays, she always made sure that decorations were put up through the home to celebrate the season. A talented cook and baker, she loved preparing meals for friends and family especially during the holidays and birthdays. She was also an avid reader who would pick up and read everything that she could. She loved every person that she met. She wouldn't think twice before helping someone out and put everyone else's needs before her own. Most importantly, she loved her family especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

Besides her loving husband, she leaves her sons, Paul St. Pierre and his wife, Lori, of Plainville, Philip St. Pierre, of California, John St. Pierre and his wife, Lisa, of Manchester; her grandchildren, Heather, Timothy and Celine; her sister, Suzanne Walden, of Keene, N. H.; along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Pauline's life was held April 14, 2010, at Bailey Funeral Home, Plainville. Burial was held privately and at the convenience of the family.
