Dear Mrs. Carey,
To say, I miss you so much, sounds so hollow and selfish. So I’ll say, I am happy that you and Chippy are together. Your grandmother and Kipper looking on. Have a peaceful journey, old friend. You'll know the path because it is the one covered with the love we are all sending you.

You are the one I studied when it came to loving and raising my son. Answers that were so easy for you. What ever your concerns were at the time, they always came a remote second to Nate, Katie and Timmy. Children who will never feel anything but your unconditional love in their thoughts of you. And, So- So creative! How many art forms were you fluent in? It was uncanny. Brilliant in so many ways. OK, not so good in math. Peggy-sue, you will always be close at heart when we’re near the ocean, or the birds are singing or that beautiful blue sky, with firm white clouds, is overhead. So, now I drink my tea to you.
Signed,
Mrs. Nassiff (Nancy-girl)

Dear Carey Family,
I am filled with sadness. We spent many years of bringing up children together in a small town. We crossed paths weekly at school, in a grocery store or at church. Peggy always gave me a hug, at the very moment I needed it most. She just knew when those moments were. I know her spirit will give all of you strength throughout your life -- especially during the moments you need it most. The Octigan family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
