Ralph Loschiavo Obituary

KENSINGTON - Ralph Loschiavo, 74 years old, husband of Anna Loschiavo (Galati), since Aug. 26, 1978 of Kensington passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital.

Ralph was born May 6, 1943 in Stefanaconi Province of Vibo Valentia, Italy to the late Domenico and Vittoria Loschiavo, previously residing in New Britain, CT before settling in Kensington. Mr. Loschiavo was employed by Fafnir Bearing for nearly 30 years where he worked as a Lead Machinist. He was a parishioner of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church as well as a member of the Italian Political Independent Club of Kensington. He enjoyed family vacations, gardening, Sunday dinners and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Ralph will be most remembered for his sense of humor, warm smile, individuality and his love of family. 

Besides Anna, he is survived and will be dearly missed by sons, Domenick Loschiavo and his wife Laura of Fairfield and John Loschiavo and his wife Sarah of Farmington; sister, Anna Lococo and her husband, Vincenzo, of New Britain and grandchildren, Gian, Luca, Alexandra and Adriana Loschiavo; and many special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, sister, Isabella Rubino, of New Britain; and brother, Antonino Loschiavo, of Stefanaconi. 

A funeral liturgy for Ralph was held at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Kensington and he was laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum, New Britain. To view Ralph's photo tribute, please visit www.newbritainsagarino.com.
