Robert Bushnell Obituary

Robert C. Bushnell, Jr., born on November 12, 1947, in Meriden, Connecticut, to the late Robert C. Bushnell, Sr. and Virginia (Dutton) Bushnell, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025. Bob is survived by his son Robert C. Bushnell III, and Lisa (Matthews), and their children Cheyenne, McKenzie, Gabriella, and Reagan. His daughter Robin (Bushnell) Gardner, and her husband, Joseph Gardner, and their children Brenden, Abigayle, and Ethan Gardner. He also leaves behind his sister, Brenda (Bushnell) Baran and her hus­band Raymond. Bob attended Southington High School and proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. Following his service, he dedicated many years to a successful career as a truck driver, earning numer­ous awards and accolades for his commitment and profes­sionalism. A lifelong New York Yan­kees fan. His greatest joy was his boat—fishing. Bob will be remembered for his hard work, loyalty, sense of humor
