Rodney E. Fauth, 65, owner of A1HandymanPlus, went home suddenly to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 28, 2021. He is survived by his loving companion, Tarie Tomporowski and her son, Jake and their loving dog, Jack. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Rod was born in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania on Jan 8, 1956 and lived in Pennsylvania until he moved to Connecticut in 2006.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, who all live in Pennnsylvania: Randy and his wife Judy, Roland and his wife Linda, Kevin and his wife Tina, Carla Fauth, Barry Fauth, Carol and her husband Todd and Tina and her husband Rob. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Karl and Kay Fauth.
Rod loved his family, friends and customers and would do just about anything for anyone who was in need, never asking for anything in return. Rod was known for his sense of humor and witty comebacks. He was a lover of southern gospel music and could often be heard singing or whistling a gospel song. He grew up close to the Amish in PA and was a farm boy at heart. He loved the simple life and the beauty of nature. He was known as Santa to many children who saw him because of his jolly disposition and his white beard, especially to a special little boy named Tommy.
