Rose M. Guiliano

Rose M. Guiliano, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at Silver Springs Care Center. She was the wife of Michael E. Guiliano,Sr., her loving husband of 68 years. Born on Jan. 12, 1926 in Southington, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Pernal. A longtime resident of Meriden, Rose was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and worked as a Dietician at Silver Springs Care center from where she retired. She was an excellent cook. Mrs. Guiliano is survived by her sons, Michael E. Guiliano Jr. and Donald J. Guiliano, both of Meriden, and Robert J. Guiliano, of California; five grandchildren, Dominic Guiliano, Joey Guiliano, Alyssa Guiliano, Jennifer Guiliano, and Douglas Blankenship Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Nyaisa and Gerelle; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Dennis Blankenship and Douglas Blankenship Sr.; and 17 brothers and sisters. Her funeral is private.
