Taylor Short Obituary
Taylor was born in Meriden, March 31, 1992, the beloved daughter of Edward E. Short II and Jennifer A. Johnson Short. She was a 2011 graduate of Mark T. Sheehan High School and was an accomplished dancer with the Judyth Parks Academy of Dance Art. Taylor was a significant contributor of her time and talents to the Wallingford Trail of Terror, which gives annually to several local charities. In addition to Taylor's passion for the arts, she was fond of fishing, swimming, and spending time with her family, friends and pets.
In addition to her parents, Taylor is survived by her brother, Edward "Tre" Short III; her devoted partner, Daniel Jacob Marshock; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Alice Johnson; and her paternal grandparents, Edward and Mamie Short; her mother's partner, Kenneth W. Welch and his children, Lindsey, Jessica, Radford and Samantha; as well as many aunts; uncles; great-aunts; great-uncles; cousins; and friends.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Friday, Nov. 30, from 4 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in The Wallingford Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Taylor's memory may be sent to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, 282 Washington Street, Hartford, CT. 06106

She was such an awesome girl. Whenever I saw her at trail she would be soo psyched for a long night of performing. Whenever anyone had a problem she would be there to lend an ear.
