Thomas Augeri Obituary
He was born in Middletown, on March 17, 1948, to Joseph Augeri and the late Anne (Brandt) Augeri. Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Wallingford Post Office until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed volunteering, talking with friends and enjoying life.
Tom is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and husband, Wayne, Christine and husband, Kevin; brother, David; father, Joseph; and five grandchildren, Joshua, Madelyn, Jacob, Tyler, and Olivia.
Family and friends may call Sunday, Feb. 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. at D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 11, at Notre Dame Church, 272 Main St., Durham at 10 a.m. Leaving D'Angelo Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Burial will be at the State Veterans' Cemetery on 317 Bow Lane, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine,One Charles Center, Suite 300, 100 North Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21201 or Tribute Giving at www.hopkinsmedicine.org/support.

Mary, Tom is greatly missed by many as well as me. Again, he refered to you and his "girls" as queens and that you are blessed to have him in your life. He would always say what he would ever do he would have to refer to the head queen first! He loved his family. I miss him and our "driveway chats", and our "Veterans Day" dinner out.
If you are ever down this way, you are more than welcome to stay for a visit.

We worked with Tom at the PO. He was always pleasant, smiling and accommodating. He came to work and did his job as a true professional, never a complaint. He was such a quiet and happy man. Mary, I'm so very sorry to hear about Tom's passing. Not sure you'll remember me, but we had classes together many years ago at MXCC and I told you how I grew up in the North End and knew your husband's family. Mary and Family: Tom was one the few who exuded kindness and genuine sincerity whenever I saw him...from the beginning. And it was always very clear to me how much he was concerned about his family. I wish I could do more than just offer my condolences, but I will add... Ill truly miss him.
