Tyler Priore Obituary
Born in Meriden, March 28, 1992, he had been a lifelong Wallingford resident. He was a student at Notre Dame High School in West Haven with the class of 2010 and had been an active baseball player with the Yalesville Little League for many years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Yalesville.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Crystal M. Priore; his brother, Alexander W. Priore, both of Wallingford; his paternal grandparents, Luciano Priore Jr. and Elia M. Priore of Longwood, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William and Ethel Sacchetillo.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial Friday at 12 noon in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 382 Hope Hill Road, Yalesville section of Wallingford. Interment will be in In Memoriam Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to Notre Dame High School, 24 Ricardo St., West Haven, CT 06516. www.wallingfordfh.com

Tyler was a volunteer at the Choate Rosemary Hall Adaptive Swim Program on Thursday evenings - he will be sorely missed by his friends and by those with whom he came in contact. We will dedicate the spring program this year in his memory. May we all learn by the example of living that Tyler exhibited - help those in need. Our sympathy goes out to his entire family.

although i never knew tyler, i was very close with georgie. infact he was my cousins, cousin. i spent alot of time with him, his sister and his parents when i was little and i was close with the whole family. im sure tyler was a good kid knowing georgies friends because he had some really great friends. i am deeply sorry for your loss.

I told the students in my class about Tyler...they immediately made cards for the family. That seems a fitting tribute to the loving boy that he was that 4th graders who had never met him reached out to his family as he reached out to so many people in his 15years.

Although I had never met Tyler, over the past week, based on what I have heard about him, I am sure that (as a mother) I would have really liked him. I have heard about his humor, his loyalty and kindness. My daughter, along with all that have spoken about him, smiles through her tears when she tells stories of Tyler. While I know processing his death is unfathomable, the outpouring celebration of his life is truly a testament to Tyler and to his family.
