Kim ,Phil and Terry
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have kept in touch with Bill for many years via emails.
May God bless you all and shall he be in a better place.

From all of us in the Geneaology world of cyberspace who never had the chance to 'meet' Bill, and yet benefited from his research kindnesses - [as well as great sense of humor] ...

We will never forget his Big Gentle Heart as he responded to emails in the rootsweb system. So much so back 11 yrs ago he 'walked' the Wallingford Cemetery for me to verify the transcriptions of my John Halls/Rev. Street and others.

For the short time he lived, he was so deeply in love with Kim and his family as well he treasured his many friends.

He will be missed, but never forgotten.

I and my family send our sympathy to the entire Duprey and Start families. We have all lost a treasure from his fun and (mostly) shareable emails to his fascinating genealogy research; he was most special. I received my last email from him the day before his death and I still forget and look for a new one from him every time I log on even now. It's a sad loss for all of us.

Kim, Philip, and Terry, we were very saddened to see in the Rutland Herald that Billy had passed away.Even though we hadn't seen Billy in 20 years it was always nice to get his emails. He seemed to take alot of pride and enjoyment out of working on the Duprey family history. We're very sorry,Cousin Mary ellen(Duprey)Ketcham.Sudbury, Vermont.
