A.Kenneth Remillard

Bernardston, MA — A. Kenneth Remillard, 99 of Bernardston, Ma. died Saturday evening (11-13-2021) at home surrrounded by his family. He was born in Gill, Ma. on December 30, 1921 the son of Augustus and Amelia (Bergeron) Remillard. Ken was educated in Gill schools. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He married the former Agnes McComb who predeceased him in 2017. He owned and operated KR Jewelers in Greenfield for many years from where he retired. He was an avid hunter and snowmobiler, and loved to cut fire wood and play cards. He enjoyed going for rides in the country with his wife. He traveled to and spent time at a home he purchased in Golden Valley, Arizona,

He is survived by his children: John Remillard of Bernardston, Jean Dobias and her husband Bruce of Leyden, and Carol Remillard of Greenfield. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Sharon Trenholm, Timothy Snow, Rebekah Minor, Eric Remillard, and Robert Nagle, and ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Kenneth J. Remillard in 2018.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Donations in his memory may be made to the West Gill Cemetery, C/O Town Hall, 325 Main Rd. Gill, Mass. 01354
