Adam Ouimette

Greenfield, MA - Adam D. Ouimette "Walrus" passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2023.

Adam was born in Greenfield October 2, 1987 the son of Donnie and Linda Ouimette and grew up in Greenfield, MA where he attended Greenfield public schools. He worked a variety of jobs over the years including Mount Snow, Tire Warehouse and Paul Redeker Rental Co. He had a strong work ethic, and showed pride in the work he did. He enjoyed hockey playing goalie for ten years on the FCHA hockey team, skiing, golf, hiking, tubing at Lake Wyola, all New England sports and most of all attending music festivals. He will be remembered for his selflessness and his generous heart. Adam would give anything to see the ones he loved smile. His love for his family and his friends was unconditional.

Adam leaves behind his father Donald Ouimette Jr & his partner Henrietta Kocot of South Deerfield, MA his paternal grandmother Ann Ouimette of Suffield, CT, 2 sisters, Messae Recore and her partner Joe Andrews of Shelburne, MA Kerri (Recore) Vassar of Gill, MA, 4 nieces; Tabitha Recore and Jessie Recore of NH, Olivia and Ella Vassar of Gill, MA & many aunts, uncles and cousins. Adam was also predeceased by his mother Linda (Townsley) Ouimette, his infant sister Rachel Ouimette, paternal grandfather Donald Ouimette Sr., maternal grandparents Robert & Florence Townsley, uncle Dennis Ouimette, uncle Rick Lavallee, uncle Donald Townsley and aunt Sylvia Townsley.

Burial will be private at the Spruce Corner Cemetery, Ashfield at the convenience of the family.

Donations may be made in Adam's memory to Dakin Animal Shelter.

Wrisley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

So sorry Donnie to hear the loss of your son. Although I never met him he sounds like he was a wonderful person. He will be in my prayers. May he RIP

Adam and Linda were my neighbors for over 15 years. I could not ask for two funnier or kinder souls to live next to. Adam Ouimette could truly lift a persons spirits without even trying. I wish you all the best during this sad time. This town lost a great person and I know that I will never forget him.
