Alan T. Stone

Montague Center, MA - Alan T. Stone, 40 of Montague Center, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was born in Greenfield October 6, 1985, the son of Tracy and Pamela (Hill) Stone.

Alan attended Gill-Montague Schools and was a member of the class of 2004.

A skilled craftsman by trade, Alan was known for his expertise in carpentry and drywall. When he wasn't working, he was almost certainly outdoors finding speed on a snowmobile, dirt bike or motorcycle. He lived for the thrill of open air.

He was a loyal friend to many and a beloved presence in his family, he will be deeply missed.

Alan is survived by his parents, his grandfather Edward Stone (Lori) and a large loving circle of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is now reunited with his brother and best friend, Nicholas Stone, his faithful boxer Cooper, and his grandmothers Dale Stone and Mary Sanford.

In accordance with his wishes there will be no formal services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest honoring Alan's memory through donations to: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 or the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Regional Dog Shelter, 10 Sandy Lane, Turners Falls, MA 01376
