Greenfield, MA - Albert J. Brule, Sr., 96, of Fairview Street died Monday 3/3/25 at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. He was born in New Haven, CT on May 20, 1928, the son of Joseph and Clara (Matteau) Brule. Albert attended local schools and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School Class of 1947.

Albert enlisted in the United States Navy, where he was selected for specialized training in the electronics school. He served aboard the U.S.S Benner and received the China Service Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal. Albert was honorably discharged in June of 1952, receiving the rank of RD2.

They also enjoyed traveling the US and internationally to visit their family. Albert was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed history books. He was an avid fisherman both in the summertime and in the winter, ice fishing. His home was always open for visits by his family, and he loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.
