Bernard Dillensneider Obituary
He served in the United States Army from 1961-1964 as a Private during the Vietnam War.
Bernie was owner and operator of About Town Taxi for 10 years.
He loved building old cars and enjoyed race car driving.
Among his survivors, Bernie leaves his beloved life partner of 33 years, Micki Mitzkovitz, three sons, Matthew and Jeremy, both of Turners Falls and Caleb and his wife Ruth of Northfield, two step daughters, Cathi Flynn and her husband Jim and Tara Farrell and her husband Tim, all of Greenfield, ten grandchildren, Olivia, Alyssa, Lexi, Sienna, Devaney, Ainslee, Caleb, Carson, Charlee and Rian and his step-sister, Mary Lee Alton and her husband Chip of New Jersey. He also leaves his dog Chico.
Bernie was predeceased by his sister, Wanita Zangri.
A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday 2/21 at 10:30 am at the Green River Cemetery in Greenfield. A celebration of life will immediately follow at Smitty's Pub in Greenfield.
There will be no calling hours.

So sorry to hear of Bernie's passing. I have known Bernie for years. although he was hard on me during my early days at the moose he taught me valuable lessons. He was quite a guy. I don't think I will ever hear God Bless America without saluting and thinking of Bernie.
