Northfield, MA — Betty A. Gibson 79, of Northfield died Friday (10-1-2021) at home. She was born in Montague, MA on February 8, 1942 the daughter of Verne and Marian (Mann) Ware. She attended Northfield Schools and was a graduate of Pioneer Valley Regional School. She worked as a secretary for most of her life and retired from Northfield Mt. Hermon School in 2005. She was a Poll worker for the Town of Northfield for many years. She was also a devoted member of the First Parish Unitarian Church participating in many church activities and serving on many committees. She will be sadly missed by the Girls Club and the Beach Babes.

She is survived by her children: Jeffery and his companion Sue Sparacino of Mamaroneck, NY, Jaclyn Ciak and her husband Greg of Feeding Hills, MA and Jared and his wife Tammy of Northfield, MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Michael and his wife Kerry, Eric, Kaylee, and Kensey and her great grand daughter, Aubriella. She was predeceased by her husband David "Mike" Gibson, and brothers, Jack and Bob Ware.

There will be a celebration of life at the West Northfield Playground, 687 Mt. Hermon Sta. Rd, Northfield, MA on Friday October 15, 2021 from 3-5 P.M.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family in West Northfield Cemetery.

Have known Betty since she was born as well as her parents and brothers. Her Dad and mine used to hunt and work together. She will be missed by many.
